I'm a freelance science writer and editor at the Genetic Literacy Project. I cover topics ranging from science education and communication to public health and biotechnology, and occasionally other things. I'm a regular contributor to the American Council on Science and Health. My writing has also been featured in Forbes and Priorities Magazine.
My work has been cited by BBC online, and several of my pieces were turned into critical thinking exercises for high-school science textbooks by the publishers McGraw-Hill and Pearson Education.
When I'm not writing, I enjoy making music, lifting weights and hanging out with my Lab-Cocker Spaniel puppy, Vox. I'm married and reside in California.
